Video: Liverpool’s Sturridge Bags Two Superb Goals On Return To Team

Following months of injury after injury stopping him from putting any kind of consistent form together, tonight may be the night when Daniel Sturridge finally announces his return to action on a weekly basis. 

The Liverpool striker showed no signs of rustiness whatsoever when starting against Southampton in the League Cup tonight, with two first half goals brilliantly stuck away past Maarten Stekelenburg in the Saints goal.


The first of which Sturridge netted after being ran wide by a poor touch to level the game 1-1…
