VIDEO: Canada’s Larin Somehow Skies Shot With Open Goal At His Mercy

Canada opened their Gold Cup campaign with a disapointing 0-0 draw against Group B opponents El Salvador today.

In a game which was contested so closely, Canada will feel they should have won, when analysing this match.

One such player who may be feeling more regretful than others however, for not capitalising in such a close-fought encounter, will be Cyle Larin whose skied shot was certainly a harder to miss kind of opportunity.

Despite the striker scoring six goals in the 13 MLS games he has already played in for Orlando City this season, Larin won’t be filled with confidence ahead of Canada’s next group game against Jamaica, in which he will hope to make amends for his mistake.

Watch below as Larin brilliantly rounds the El Salvador goalkeeper before fluffing his lines at the crucial moment.
