VIDEO: Barcelona’s Messi Smashes Two Carbon Copy Frees Past Sevilla In UEFA Super Cup

Barcelona’s talisman Lionel Messi played a pivotal role in Barca’s 5-4 victory over Sevilla in the UEFA Super Cup last night, scoring two identical free-kicks.

In an incredible game, which the Catalan club should really have run away with having gone up 4-1 at one stage, Sevilla climbed what looked like an insurmountable mountain to level things at 4-4 before Manchester United target Pedro won the game in extra-time with a close-range drive to the roof of the net.

Two early, carbon copy free-kicks from the Argentine genius were key to the La Liga, copa del Rey and European champions taking an early lead, however.

It may look as though we’ve just posted two of the exact same videos below, but they are in fact two of the frees Messi converted last night, we promise.
