VIDEO: Ayew’s Pass Of The Season Contender To Set Up Gomis vs Man United

Swansea City continued their impressive start to the season today with a fantastic 2-1 victory over Manchester United.

Andre Ayew was the Swans’ hero, getting on the scoresheet to draw Swansea level as well as setting up Bafétimbi Gomis with a beautiful outside-of-the-boot pass.

Ayew’s equalising goal for Swansea, after Juan Mata had put United ahead, was well-taken, however his slide rule pass for the Swans’ winner is the moment from the game which will have football purists drooling.

Today’s home win for Garry Monk’s side means that Swansea now leapfrog United into fourth just one point ahead of Louis van Gaal’s men.

With winnable games against Watford and Everton to come after the international break, Swansea could still find themselves right in the mix for European places by the end of September if they manage to keep this kind of form going.

Watch Ayew’s delightful pass and Gomis’ goal below.

And for good measure, Ayew’s goal, which brought the Swans level.
