With the Rugby World Cup having just kicked off, Arsenal got into the spirit of the occasion by enlisting Aaron Ramsey, Calum Chambers and Francis Coquelin to take part in a rugby time trial challenge.
With each player representing their respective nation, the results were more shambolic than one may have thought from a bunch of professional athletes.
The challenge began with each player having to tie tape around their head before attempting to hit a mannequin with a rugby ball. The final part of the challenge was to kick the ball into a bin, which you may think would be straightforward for professional footballers. However, the overall results were pretty poor.
English, French and Welsh rugby players will not be wary of any of these Arsenal stars switching codes and taking their places anytime soon, we feel.
The rugby gear will have been put to one side today as Arsenal face Chelsea in a crucial early-season London derby.
The Blues’ poor form of late will provide the Gunners with huge hope of defeating Jose Mourinho’s side and Arsenal will also be aware a win could catapult them into second place for tonight, depending on Leicester City’s result away to Stoke.
