Manchester United and Juventus Both Eye Arsenal Target As Pogba Alternative [Report]

Moussa Sissoko has become extremely hot property following his dominant performance for France in their Euro 2016 final against Portugal on Sunday.

Though his side suffered defeat at the hands of an Eder extra time screamer, Sissoko was one of the France’s standout players. His strength and attacking play was such that he eclipsed teammate and in demand midfielder, Paul Pogba, and in doing, catapulted himself right into the sights of some of Europe’s biggest teams.

According to Goal, via Le10Sport, the midfielder has caught the attention of both Manchester United and Series A champions, Juventus. With Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger having already expressed his admiration for the Newcastle star, it looks to be only a matter of time before an offer is made for France international.

Newcastle United were relegated to the Championship last season and so it is expected that the player would be interested in a move back to top flight football if an offer was made.

According to reports, United are looking at Sissoko as a possible alternative for Paul Pogba, should he decide to remain in Turin, while Juventus have their sights on the 26 year old as a replacement for Pogba, should he decide to leave.

Manchester United
Pogba struggled during Euro 2016.

Newcastle have slapped a valuation of £35 million on Sissoko following his Euro 2016 performances and with a Pogba deal reported to be worth in excess of £100 million, the Magpies star is nothing short of a bargain, to whomever wins the race for his signature.

Whatever happens, it is safe to assume that Moussa Sissoko is going to be linked with some big money moves in the coming days and weeks and the chances of him remaining on Tyneside are growing smaller by the minute.
