England striker Harry Kane was simply unstoppable for Tottenham on Sunday, as they convincingly beat Stoke City at White Hart Lane.

Kane netted his second hat-trick in a week, and his third of 2017, in just 23 first half minutes as well as assisting Dele Alli.

Having scored all three Spurs goals at Fulham in the FA Cup last week, he had a pretty poor game against Gent in the Europa League in midweek. But the London native certainly had his scoring boots on again this week and made up for that poor European showing.

A neat finish into the bottom corner opened the scoring after 14 minutes, and he followed that up with two goals from set-pieces.

Kane converted a Christian Eriksen corner to make it 2-0 after 32 minutes and then fired in a free-kick from outside the box for his third just five minutes later.

In first-half injury time, Kane turned provider as he set up Alli to make it 4-0.

Twitter users showed their love for Kane following the game, with several posts acknowledging just how good a goalscorer he is.

Neither team could add to the scoring after the break, although Spurs had several decent chances, and the game finished 4-0.

It’s a result that moves Tottenham back into second place in the Premier League table, ten points behind leaders Chelsea.

As for Kane, he is now back on the top of the Premier League scoring charts for this season, having netted 17 league goals from just 21 appearances.
