Liverpool suffered what can only be described as a total collapse against Bournemouth on Sunday afternoon.
3-1 up with fourteen minutes remaining, Jurgen Klopp’s side fell to pieces in the closing stages and somehow ended up losing 4-3 to the Cherries.
They can have no complaints either, as without the calming influence of new signing Joel Matip they looked aimless and terrified, and Bournemouth duly punished them for their mistakes.
Loris Karius in particular will consider himself very fortunate if he keeps his place ahead of Simon Mignolet next weekend.
Social media, as social media does, quite violently put the boot in on what was undoubtedly their worst game of the season so far:

FT: Bournemouth 4 #LFC 3: Reds lost their heads and lost 3pts. Very sloppy. ‘3-1 up and you ****ed it up,’ from home end. They’re right.

Klopp a little bit overly affectionate with the opposition players who have just humiliated him, TBH.

Carragher: Too often in last 2 or 3 years, Liv fall apart when put under pressure. Back 4 and keeper can’t deal with it.

At this point, all Liverpool fans can do is pray that Joel Matip makes a speedy recovery.
