The Disdained Reaction Of Gunners Fans As Arsenal Do An ‘Arsenal’ On It

Arsenal have shown signs of that soft underbelly letting them down this week at Everton and this was very much the case at the Etihad Stadium as defeat left them nine points behind leaders Chelsea.

Theo Walcott put the Gunners in front inside five minutes from a well timed pass by Alexis Sanchez and Wenger’s men looked comfortable for the rest of the first half with City showing little sign of threatening.

However, Guardiola’s side upped their game completely after the interval as goals from Leroy Sane and Raheem Sterling turned the game on its head.

The North Londoners were very tame in responding and ultimately fizzled out. Mesut Ozil in particular was invisible in a big game when needed most.

It was a much needed win for Guardiola’s City to stave off the critics and close the gap at the top. Meanwhile, it was same old Arsenal who are now back in 4th with both Spurs and United breathing down their necks.
