Arsenal legend Thierry Henry believes that Arsenal will finish inside the top four this year in the Premier League, but will need something extra if they are to challenge for the title next season.
The Gunners are currently 10 points adrift of leaders Leicester with four games to go, and are four points clear of fifth placed Manchester United.
While there have been some standout performers for Arsene Wenger’s side this season, they lacked consistency to mount a serious challenge, and fell away in the second half.
Focus from the Emirates faithful now turns towards the summer, as they ponder who the club can purchase to drive them on to the title.
Henry feels that N’Golo Kante would be an astute signing, and would gel the Gunners from the middle of the park, allowing the likes of Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil to roam freely up the park.
Speaking on Sky Sports during the week, the former striker said Wenger can learn a lot from Leicester’s title charge.
“It looks like Arsenal can and should finish in the top four, but there is something to look forward to, and that’s next season.
“If [Alexis] Sanchez can perform the way he’s performing at the minute, and we have Mesut Ozil carrying on giving the assists he’s been giving since the start of the season, then you can think if you have that striker who can score in that moment – maybe N’Golo Kante [as well], we have lots of names we can throw around.
“[Riyad] Mahrez also was linked, but it’s going to be a very busy summer for Arsene because you need to get that excitement back and the fans to look forward to something for next season.”

Kante has been central to the Foxes’ tilt for the title, and many feel that he has been the best player in the league this season.
If he replicates his domestic form for France in Euro 2016 this summer, he could be one of the most in-demand players in Europe.
