Sitting three points off the top and having not lost a league game since the opening day of the season, things are looking pretty good for Arsenal right now.
The Gunners are in lethal form having scored 9 goals in their last two outings, while also topping their Champions League group for the first time since the 2011-12 season. However, it’s not all good news for Gooners as the futures of their two star players still seem clouded in uncertainty.
Both Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil’s contracts will run out in 18 months time and, with Arsenal supporters stressing over the forwards putting pen to paper, The Telegraph have dropped a pretty drastic update on the negotiations.
According to the broadsheet, Arsenal now view Ozil’s wage demands as unrealistic and will reluctantly listen to respectable offers for the German play-maker next summer if he is unwilling to budge on his demands.

Some sources claim Ozil and Sanchez want £20million-a-year, £384,000-a-week, to re-sign with the Gunners and Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has appealed for them not to let money decide their futures.
Arsenal could risk letting the pair enter the final 12 months of their agreements if no compromise deals can be struck, but Telegraph Sport understands any big offers for Ozil would be looked at if he does not sign an extension.
