Swansea City have confirmed the dismissal of manager Bob Bradley after just eleven games in charge.
The former USA and Egypt boss replaced Francesco Guidolin in October, but a run of just two wins in eleven has kept the Swans deep in relegation trouble and four points from safety.
Social media has been ablaze on Tuesday evening as people react to the news that Bradley has lasted less than three months in charge at the Liberty Stadium, while many are of the opinion that he should never have been given the job in the first place (with the blame being placed squarely at the owners).

Bob Bradley: 85 days and 11 games at Swansea. Nothing on his cv to equip him for a Premier League relegation battle. Owners’ fault, not his.

Feel sorry for Bob Bradley. Not really sure what he was meant to do. Inherited another manager’s players and never got a transfer window.

Bob Bradley weren’t upto it.We need a manager that can galvanize the squad quickly.20 games left we need 9 wins. We sit on 3 now.

Ummm ok results not good enough but 86 days & sacked smacks of panic ? #BobBradley

Me: Bob Bradley got fired at Swansea.
— Tess Quinlan (@TessQuinlan) December 27, 2016
To be fair, if Bob Bradley has already been fired, he was working for an organization with much deeper issues.

Sad to hear Bob Bradley has been fired as @SwansOfficial manager. His squad inadequate & wasn’t given a transfer window. Shocking decision

Swansea situation doesn’t surprise me. Piss poor business, can’t sell top players for decent ££££ and not re-invest accordingly. #BobBradley

As for the Board…..?

Ryan Giggs was one of the other main contenders to replace Guidolin in October, and while he has already been installed as one of the favourites to replace Bradley, many are divided as to whether his stellar playing career would translate to being a top-level manager:
Give it to Giggs so they can sack him in a month too #swans
— Chris Manning (@19manning83) December 27, 2016
If Bob Bradley was a bad choice Ryan Giggs is absolutely horrendous one.
— kyle (@gkylek) December 27, 2016
Part of me wants Giggs to get the job – why? We’ll finally know if he’s the next Johan Cruyff or next Ossie Ardiles. It’ll be hit or miss.
— Kartik Krishnaiyer (@kkfla737) December 27, 2016
Please not Giggs. #SCFC

There does, however, seem to be a strong belief that Swansea’s spiral towards relegation started a year ago, when Garry Monk was fired after a blip in form…
And you axed Garry Monk, well played Swansea
— Tom Barber (@TBarber93) December 27, 2016
If Swansea didn’t sack Garry Monk, none of this would be happening. One bad run of form and he went. Far too soon.
— J C (@docklanders) December 27, 2016
Two sackings before January ? that’s shocking from Swansea, they should’ve kept Garry Monk who’s who’s striving at Leeds ?
— Fabregod (@HolyConte) December 27, 2016
Swansea need a boss who knows PL, the club & English transfer market. Preferably with a track record of success. How about @GarryMonk ?!

For the third time in a year, Swansea now begin the search for a new manager.
