Spurs V Manchester City: Lineups Confirmed, Kane Still Out, De Bruyne Not Ready

Manchester City have been in imperious form this season as under new manager Pep Guardiola, the league leaders are yet to drop a point. The high flying club visit Tottenham Hotspur today.

The Premier League leaders have been going about their business firmly planted in the media spotlight. The arrival of Pep Guardiola was never going to allow the Manchester club any anonymity this season. Not that they have needed it. Six wins from six and with a goal difference of plus 13, City are enjoying the best ever start to a Premier League campaign.

Tottenham meanwhile have been quietly racking up the points and remain undefeated this term. A somewhat disappointing end to last season saw them cede second place in the table to city rivals Arsenal and you might expect that this time around, manager, Pochettino, will be seeking to banish the demons of that bitter memory.

With Harry Kane still nursing an ankle injury, goal scoring duties will once again fall to new signing Heung-Min Sun.

Pochettino has named a strong side to face the visiting Citizens today.

Guardiola meanwhile has the luxury of selecting a team that, despite the injury concerns of Vincent Kompany, Kevin DeBruyne and Fabian Delph, is still full of threat.

Sergio Agüero is a man on fire, scoring five goals already this term in the league and 11 in all competitions.

It could well come down to a battle of defensive line ups as both sides boast the best record in the league, while up front City, with Agüero in flying form, are the leagues most potent side.

Kick off at White Hart Lane is at 2:15pm.
