Premier League leaders Liverpool travel to St. Mary’s to face Southampton this afternoon.
Jurgen Klopp’s side have been in flying form of late, but know that the Saints will provide stern opposition despite the fact that they have only won once in their last five league games.
For today’s game, Southampton manager Claude Puel makes several changes from the side that lost 2-1 at Hull last weekend.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg comes in for Jordy Clasie in central midfield, while record signing Sofiane Boufal comes in for Dusan Tadic on the wing. Shane Long, meanwhile, returns to the home side’s bench after a spell on the sidelines.
The visitors, meanwhile, are forced into changes of their own. Adam Lallana limped off in during England’s 2-2 draw with Spain in midweek and does not play.

Georginio Wijnaldum replaces the midfielder, but the good news for Klopp is that Philippe Coutinho starts despite being earlier fears that he would miss out with a hamstring injury. There are no other changes, which means a place on the bench once again for Daniel Sturridge.
