Roy Keane Fires Some Captainlike Advice In The Direction Of Manchester United’s Paul Pogba

Roy Keane has fired some refreshing advice at the misfiring Paul Pogba…

With Paul Pogba getting some tough love from Jose Mourinho of late, reports have begun to circulate suggesting that the French international is unhappy with the position in which he is being deployed under the ‘Special One’.

According to reports, Pogba is fed up of being deployed in a midfield two with Nemanja Matic and feels that United’s formation is hampering his attacking capabilities.

The French international would reportedly prefer to play on the left of a midfield three so that he can express himself more going forward and reduce his defensive obligations.

However, speaking about the 24-year-old’s apparent discontent at his position in the United starting XI, Roy Keane has reminded Pogba of his supposed talent and suggested he get on with the business of football.

Any top player, if they are going to play in midfield, should be able to play in a two or a three,” said the former United captain Keane speaking on ITV Sport.

“The guy just needs to do better himself and focus on what the game of football is all about.”

United have been struggling of late having lost to both Newcastle and Spurs in recent weeks. They will take on Huddersfield this weekend in the FA Cup before a crucial Champions League clash with Sevilla.
