Cristiano Ronaldo has retained his spot as the world’s best player in FIFA 19, making it the third year in a row he has beaten Lionel Messi to top spot.

Although the two superstars have the same overall rating of 94 for the first time, Ronaldo’s stats are superior and tops the list on FIFA 19’s official website, which was revealed on Wednesday afternoon.
Ronaldo is the cover star again, this time alongside Neymar. The Juventus forward has yet to score for his new club, however, it is only a matter of time before he again justifies his 94 overall rating.
The game will be released in just over two weeks time, and the official FIFA 19 demo will be available on Thursday the 13th. The clubs that are available to play with on the demo are Real Madrid, Athleticó Madrid, Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, Juventus, AS Roma, Manchester City, Manchester United and Tottenham.

The new gameplay modes that feature on FIFA 19 include ‘Survival Mode’, where a player is sent off every team the opposition scores a goal, a game where shots from outside the box count as two, and a ‘Headers and Volleys’ game.
FIFA 19 is released on 28 September 2018.
