Robbie Keane just dropped an epic response after being asked if he would consider a move to China.
With his future somewhat up in the air, Robbie Keane has been linked with a host of Premier League and Championship clubs in recent weeks. However, it seems that a move to the Chinese Super League isn’t really on the cards.
Looking to announce itself as a major player in the footballing world, China have poached several top players in recent months, paying out jaw-dropping sums of money in the process.
Carlos Tevez and Oscar are now plying their trade in the Far East while Hulk, Ezequiel Lavezzi and Graziano Pelle have been there since last season. Now, one more superstar seems destined to make the move as Chelsea striker Diego Costa has been strongly linked with a move from the Premier League in recent weeks.
For Robbie Keane however, it seems that the Chinese power houses haven’t come calling quite yet and, asked on Talksport if he would consider it if they did, the 36-year-old gave a hilarious response.
‘If they gave me the money Diego Costa was offered, I’d walk there now!”
