Roberto Firmino started off his Anfield career quite slowly and many feared that the Brazilian would turn out to be yet another Brendan Rodgers flop acquisition.
However, yesterday the creative midfielder was a sensation against league favourites Manchester City leading his side to a 4-1 victory at the Etihad. Firmino scored one goal while providing two assists in the win and was correctly awarded the man of the match award.

While the praise was still rolling in for the Brazilian, the always excellent Opta Joe tweeted out a fascinating stat which shows how well Firmino is clicking under manager Jurgen Klopp. Liverpool have now won all 4 games that Roberto Firmino has started since new boss Jurgen Klopp took charge. Prior to his appointment, Liverpool won none of the 4 started under the now sacked Brendan Rodgers.
