Ireland manager Martin O’Neill has named a 28-man squad to travel to Vienna to take on Austria on Saturday.
James McCarthy, Stephen Ward, Cyrus Christie and Stephen Quinn have all been ruled out through injury.
Dundalk duo Daryl Horgan and Andy Boyle have been included in the final squad.
Austria are currently struggling in Group D, and will be looking to keep their hopes of qualification for the World Cup alive with a home win over high-flying Ireland.
The Boys in Green have picked up seven points from their first three games, which leaves them joint top of the group alongside Serbia.
