A reliable Arsenal source on Twitter has revealed that Jack Wilshere is to be offered a new deal with the club, but there is not such positive news for fan favourite Santi Cazorla.
Pablo, aka @AFCCAMDAM, has been proven right on several occasions with Gunner-related news, and his claim earlier today was supported by manager Arsene Wenger.
Pablo posted on his official ‘AFCAMDEN’ website to provide a much-needed update for supporters last night.
Arsenal are set to open contract talks with Jack Wilshere in the coming weeks.
The Englishman is currently on loan at Bournemouth after a deadline day loan switch to The Cherries, however Arsenal are set to make a move & secure the long term future of the player.
Wenger’s comments in today’s Telegraph support Pablo’s claims.
The English paper reported:
Asked if Wilshere will be offered a new Arsenal contract, Wenger replied: “Ideally, yes. We have to plan that around the New Year.”
“Every week I ask, ‘How did he play?’ I read the reports and when I can see highlights or watch him on television, I will watch him. I’m happy that he hasn’t had any injuries since he left us.”
However, Pablo has told fans that Santi Cazorla’s contract, which runs out at the end of the season, is unlikely to be renewed.

Cazorla has been instrumental when he has played for Arsenal this season, and the combination of Mohamed Elneny and Francis Coquelin has simply not worked.
In addition, Arsene Wenger has not favoured the selection of Granit Xhaka during the 2016/17 campaign, which is simply bizarre given his largely superb performances for the Gunners and for Borussia Monchengladbach in the Bundesliga.
Regardless, Wenger will need to find a replacement for Cazorla if he is planning to stay beyond this year.
