Arsenal have endured a tough start to the new season and it won’t get any easier on Sunday afternoon when they travel to Anfield to take on Liverpool.
In the opening game of the new campaign, the Gunners rescued three points having been 3-2 down against Leicester with time running out. They rode their luck that night and such fortune evaporated when leaned upon the following week as a poor performance at Stoke saw them deservedly beaten.
If they were to leave Merseyside empty-handed on Sunday evening, there would be uproar in north London. Leading the charge of said uproar would unquestionably be popular YouTube fan channel, Arsenal Fan TV.
The supporters who appear in videos after defeats routinely go viral and one, in particular, has gained a massive following. Going by the name of Troopz, the passionate Gooner is constantly providing us with absolute gold.
Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey sat down with The Times this week and was asked about the channel. To his credit, he came out with a brilliant answer.
“Ha ha, no (I don’t watch AFTV). Though I’ve been called a Ham Roll on there or something.
“Is it a good thing or bad thing? I haven’t a clue, mate. But Rob Holding calls me Ham Roll now.”
Ramsey will be hoping to start his side’s crucial clash on Sunday having been one of the standout performers in the win over Leicester.
If they can claim what would be a very impressive victory in the north-west, they would leapfrog the Reds and move just three points behind early leaders Manchester United.
