How many signings can they make in one week?
After bringing in Zlatan Ibrahimovic on a free transfer and Henrikh Mkhitaryan for a fee in the region of £26 million, it seems Manchester United aren’t done yet.
The father-in-law of Hirving Lozano, a Mexican winger who has been heavily linked with United this summer, has said that:
“Yes. It’s all done, just missing some details and after the Olympics, the deal will become official,”
While this isn’t exactly official confirmation, this one certainly looks on the cards.
Lozano would become the second Mexican to ply his trade in Old Trafford, following the much-loved Javier Hernandez. Chicharito, as he is known, made just over 100 appearances in the red of United, bagging 37 goals.
If Lozano is coming to Manchester during this window, it would come as no surprise if he was loaned straight back out. With the arrival of Mkhitaryan as well as the fact that both Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford could be playing their football on the wing next season, the twenty-year-old wouldn’t see a lot of game time.
