Barcelona enraged a significant portion of their supporters last year by switching Barca’s famed vertical stripes to horizontal for the 2015/16 campaign.
Now, however, the powers that be at Barca and Nike have seen sense and returned the classic blue and red stripes to their more familiar orientation ahead of next season.
Thanks to Footyheadlines.com, we can now have a sneak peak at what the jersey will look like when it’s released in May.
While the images below show just a graphic of the jersey and not the material itself, next season’s offering already looks to feature a lighter blue colour while the red also seems to stand out that bit more.
Once on display on the pitch, this kit should look much more attractive than this season’s version, with a simplified two red stripes adorning the front of the jersey while the blue shorts and socks, which are to accompany this beautiful looking shirt, should make it one of the most distinctive Barca kits in years.
