Cork City have announced that they have accepted an offer from an unknown club for Brian Lenihan, believed to be Championship side Brighton and Hove Albion.
Cork City published this statement on their official website today:
Cork City Football Club can confirm that the club has received an offer for our player, Brian Lenihan, which has been accepted.
The club will not be making any further comment on the matter at this time, and the focus of our management and players is fully on Friday night’s FAI Ford Cup tie against Bohemians at Turner’s Cross.
The deal for the former College Corinthians player is believed to be worth €200,000.
There will be a @CorkCityFC press conference tom. Club have confirmed fee agreed for Brian Lenihan, believed to be €200k to Brighton.
