According to several reports this morning, Liverpool are set to part company with manager Brendan Rodgers after the derby this afternoon.
British tabloid The Sun are today reporting that Brendan Rodgers is set for the sack at Anfield. Acc0rding to the report the Liverpool board have decided to part company with the Northern Irishman should he lose the club’s clash with Everton this afternoon.
However, the report is not even certain on that point and also suggests that the club may even force the under-fire manager out should his side do the business this afternoon.
Tying together with the above smoke, there seems to be fire in Bosnia today as news outlet Pravdabl are reporting that former Borussia Dortmund manager Jurgen Klopp, and Bosnian coach Zeljko Buvac have agreed to take over at Liverpool.
The report claims that the deal is already done and that it is now simply a matter of the club making the announcement. Based on The Sun’s report, that should be this evening.
If the reported news on Rodgers is true, there could be significant managerial change in the coming week in the Premier League as it seems Jose Mourinho is now under ferocious pressure at Chelsea and that his head may also be on the chopping block.
