Middlesbrough Reveal The Worst Home Kit In the Entire History Of Football

Now that Middlesbrough have finally ensured promotion to the Barclays Premier League, after having dropped from first place to fourth place in the previous season with two games remaining in the campaign and thus losing the subsequent playoff final to Norwich City, preparation has gotten underway in earnest for next season.

Having finished second in this season’s Championship behind Burnley, the club will be now looking forward with much aplomb to their long awaited return to England’s top-flight of football. This sense of positivity and excitement has been exacerbated throughout the club with season tickets set to smash the 20,000 milestone.

With the required enhancements needed by any rising club between divisions, one such ‘enhancement’ made by Middlesbrough has come into question by fans and pundits alike with the unveiling with what has to be said a rather gross 2016/17 home kit.

After being unveiled on Friday morning fans quickly took to Twitter to voice their opinion on the new attire with the overwhelming consensus that it is not too pleasing on the eye:
