“Sign me now, or forget about it.”
The never ending Pedro to Manchester United saga rumbles on but today, things have finally taken a turn that will please the thrill seekers amongst us.
The Red Devils have seemingly taken an eternity to complete a deal that would see the Champions League winner heading to Old Trafford with many reports suggesting United are trying to negotiate a cut price for the forward.
The details that are now generally accepted are that Barcelona want €30m up front while United are only willing to offer €25m with €5m in performance add ons.
Considering the prices being paid in today’s market, €5m seems like chump change to us gangsters here in Pundit HQ but apparently, this add ons technicality is starting to really get on one persons tits in particular.
Pedro has reportedly become very annoyed over the length of time Manchester United are taking to get the deal across the line and is ready to pull the plug if it is not wrapped up soon.
According to reliable Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo, Van Gaal understand’s the Spaniard’s concerns and has now told Woodward to pay what Barcelona are asking and get the deal done.
However, if the Red Devils fail to stump up the extra cash by the weekend, then Pedro might just call the whole thing off.
