New Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho could soon link up again with Real Madrid defender Raphael Varane, according to El Confidencial.
Varane looks to be on his way out of the Bernabeu due to his lack of game time at the club, and Manchester United may try and lure the well sought after player to Old Trafford.
The French international, who although has a real connection with former French superstar and current Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane, seems to still be heading away from the capital.
Indeed, the 23-year-old has a connection with Mourinho also, having moved to the Spanish giants when the latter was the manager at the club back in 2011.
The defender suffered heartbreak as he was ruled out of France’s Euro 2016 due to injury, missing the golden opportunity to represent his country while being the host nation of the tournament .
Mourinho has already bolstered the Red Devils’ defence with the signing of young centre-back Eric Bailly already done, and now Varane in the pipeline, which makes for a very exciting combination to play in front of the outstanding David De Gea .
