After months of rumours, the transfer of the century is seemingly nearing completion.
Paul Pogba is set to make a decision on his sensational return to Manchester United in the next forty-eight hours, according to Squawka.
They also claim that United are “confident” that the midfield starlet will give him the answer they want and complete the record deal. While the player was concentrating on his nation’s march towards the Euro 2016 final, his agent, Mino Raiola, has negotiated the deal.
“The 20-time English champions are yet to make a formal offer to Juventus but are preparing a bid of £85m plus add-ons that would take the value of the transfer up to £100m.”
Should he return to his former club, Pogba would become one of the game’s highest earners, bringing in £300,000 each week, signing on a five-year contract.
Since leaving Manchester back in 2012, his star has risen rapidly. Impressive performances for Juve have gone a long way to ensuring the Serie A title stay in Turin in each of the last four seasons.
It shouldn’t come as a surprise that the Frenchman is the Jose Mourinho’s top priority, he fits the mould of a midfielder that the Special One has long admired. His industry, physical size, speed and ability in both ends of the pitch surely appeals to United’s new boss.
