Manchester United are one of just four European clubs that have been given an exclusive fourth kit by the latest iteration of EA Sports’ iconic football game, FIFA 18.
Along with Juventus, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid, United have become the beneficiaries of a most excellent partnership between the gaming giants and Adidas.
The two companies have developed the digital kit solely for the latest instalment of the game and made the big reveal online today via their Twitter account.

Maintaining the obvious personalities of each club and their current kits, what has been developed for FIFA 18 are four truly stunning designs and you can be sure that fans will quickly be calling for the clubs to make real these digital designs as soon as possible.
United’s edgy offering, with matching shorts, sees the famous claret colour replaced with a black base colour. In a pattern that could be anything from roof tiles to a spine and ribs, the famous red returns to slash across the dark finish, making for an aggressive and dynamic design.
Each of the other three kits developed have a similar black starting, with each then having elements that are quintessential to the respective clubs.
Available only for FIFA 18’s Ultimate Team, these special offerings aren’t about to become the norm. They will be granted to players who selected one of these clubs as their favourite team, that team had been on their active profile before December 15.
EA Sports have outdone themselves with this one.
