Well, we all know what Juan Mata would be doing if he wasn’t a footballer…
Despite the fact that he has played for both Chelsea and Manchester United for significant periods of time, Juan Mata is one of the most widely liked players plying his trade in the Premier League.
This week, the Spanish international was named as the Guardian’s Footballer of the Year for his role in launching the ‘Common Goal Initiative’ – a project in which players and managers donate 1% of their salary to charity.
Since launching the initiative, Mata has seen multiple superstars in the world of football pledging 1% of their salaries to the Common Goal with the likes of Mats Hummels, Kasper Schmeichel, Shinji Kagawa and Giorgio Chiellini standing out.
However, not only known for his generosity and extraordinary footballing ability, Mata is also known for his devilish good looks and with Manchester United launching a new range of training gear, the Spanish maestro went into model mode to show it off.
Keep working in the new year. ?
