Good News For Manchester United Fans As Two Youngsters Rejoin Training

Fosu United

When Timothy Fosu-Mensah was omitted from the Manchester United’s matchday squad for the friendly against Galatasaray, fears quickly arose over his future.

Some media outlets claimed that the young Dutchman was set to be jettisoned by Jose Mourinho despite his fan favourite status at Old Trafford.

However, such fears were finally calmed when it emerged that Timbo was simply carrying a knock and still remained a part of the Special One’s plans.

Today he resumed training with the first team along with exciting nineteen-year-old defender Joe Riley. The Englishman impressed many with some dependable performances at the tail-end of last season but had returned to the reserves since pre-season began last month.

Meanwhile, the Bastian Schweinsteiger soap opera shows no signs of stopping as he was absent from training once more as his exit edges closer. Mourinho’s treatment of the German has left a sour taste in the mouths of many fans after the United boss banished the World Cup winner to train with the reserves.
