England have announced their U21 Squad ahead of their play-off tie with Croatia and have included Manchester United defender Luke Shaw, who will now not be part of England’s senior squad.
The £30m Manchester United left back was part of Roy Hodgsons’s World Cup squad but will now drop down to the England U21 squad whcih includes Arsenal’s Callum Chambers and West Brom striker Saido Berahino.
Here is the squad that Gareth Southgate’has named to face Croatia in their crucial European play-of encounter, which will be played over two legs:

Defenders: Calum Chambers (Arsenal), Eric Dier (Tottenham Hotspur), Luke Garbutt (Everton), Ben Gibson (Middlesbrough), Carl Jenkinson (West Ham United, on loan from Arsenal), Michael Keane (Burnley, on loan from Manchester United), Jamaal Lascelles (Nottingham Forest, on loan from Newcastle United), Liam Moore (Leicester City), Luke Shaw (Manchester United).
Midfielders: Lewis Baker (Chelsea), Tom Carroll (Swansea City, on loan from Tottenham Hotspur), Jake Forster-Caskey (Brighton & Hove Albion), Will Hughes (Derby County), Thomas Ince (Hull City), Alex Pritchard (Brentford, on loan from Tottenham Hotspur), Nathan Redmond (Norwich City).

The winners will take their place at next summer’s final in the Czech Republic and England will be hoping to retain their decent record at this level having qualified for the last U21 European Championship in 2013, where the the likes of Isco and Thiago Alcantara guided the Spanish team to the final where they defeated Italy.
