It appears Jose Mourinho is beginning a cull of some of Manchester United’s academy talent after confirming the departure of another promising youngster.
Following the announcement that Tyler Reid was leaving the club earlier today, United took to Twitter this afternoon to break the news.

Oxford, now managed by former Reds midfielder Michael Appleton, agreed a two-year deal with Rothwell.
The twenty-one-year-old had spells on loan at both Blackpool and Barnsley but seldom featured, often plagued by injury. He never made a senior appearance at Old Trafford but did make the bench as United downed Watford back in March.
He made appearances for England youth teams at a number of levels, impressing many and is considered to be a highly talented young player.
The club wished the Manchester-born lad all the best as he left his boyhood club.
“Everybody at United would like to wish Joe the very best of luck for the future.”
