José Mourinho, Antonio Conte and Arsene Wenger are set to go head-to-head for the £24 million winger, if reports are to be believed.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan has only one year left on his contract and renewal talks are stalling over wage demands. Not wanting to let the Armenian go on a free next summer, as they did with Robert Lewandowski, Dortmund may be willing to let him go this window.
Seizing upon this, three of the Premier League big boys have become seriously interested, according to Bild. United in particular, are “willing to pay the full fee of £24 million.
The German newspaper also report that a decision on Mkhitaryan’s future will be made this week by Dortmund.
The 27-year-old is one of Europe’s most sought after widemen with 23 goals and an astounding 32 assists this season. He arrived in Dortmund in July 2013 after impressing for Shaktar Donetsk.
It wouldn’t be too hard to force this one through but there’s a long way to go yet.
