Manchester United take on Arsenal at Old Trafford in Saturday’s early Premier League kick-off.

The two have enjoyed somewhat contrasting fortunes this season, Arsenal keeping pace with the Premier League leaders while Man United have struggled slightly.

However, Arsene Wenger’s record at Old Trafford is poor, his record against José Mourinho worse, so form is a guarantee of nothing going into today’s match.

For the home side, Zlatan Ibrahimovic is a confirmed absentee through suspension so Marcus Rashford finally gets his chance to lead the line.

Eric Bailly, Chris Smalling and Luke Shaw are all out so Mourinho has had to deploy a makeshift defence once again, though Antonio Valencia has been passed fit to start.

Wayne Rooney, who had to withdraw from the England squad this week through injury, is named on the bench. Henrikh Mkhitaryan, as ever, is nowhere to be seen.

For Arsenal, Wenger confirmed earlier this week that Héctor Bellerín is set to be ruled out for the next four weeks, so Carl Jenkinson starts at Old Trafford for the first time since in the league he was sent of in the great 8-2 humiliation of 2011.

Santi Cazorla is also out, with no timeline placed on his return, but the biggest news of all for Arsenal today is that Alexis Sánchez has shaken off his injury and starts up front.

Aaron Ramsey also starts, with Alex Iwobi dropping to the bench.
