The January transfer window was largely an underwhelming one for fans of England’s biggest clubs, with no major deals having been completed. Considering the impending shake-up of management at the top of the table, this is no surprise.

Manchester United are being heavily linked with José Mourinho, while Chelsea are looking for a long-term coach. Pep Guardiola is en route to Manchester City, so things are getting exciting, and quickly.

While this last transfer window flattered to deceive, there is little doubt that some of the planet’s top talent will descend upon the Premier League this summer.

One such star that has been heavily linked with a move to England is Antoine Griezmann.

The France international is regarded as one of the most exciting talents in Europe, and at just 24, many are tipping him for future success.

It has been little secret that Chelsea have been courting his services, but according to the Daily Mail, both Manchester clubs are hot on his heels.

The Atlético Madrid striker has reportedly told friends that he wants to move to England this summer.

Griezmann will lead the French attack as they bid to capture the European Championships for the first time since 2000, and his stock is likely to rise over the month of June.

Atlético are reluctant to sell the former Real Sociedad star, but the 2013/2014 Champions League finalists have a track record of selling their strikers when the money is right.

With England’s biggest clubs all keen on the Frenchman’s signature, all the Madrid club needs to do is sit back and watch the bidding war commence.
