Sky Sports claim that Man City are in talks to sign Leroy Sane from Schalke, Marlos Moreno of Atletico Nacional and Palmeiras star Gabriel Jesus.
Rumours have been rife that the Citizens have been attempting to recruit Sane, but it appears that the move is definitely on the cards considering Sky’s credible reputation.
The German winger is just twenty years old but is already an established starter for Schalke and a full international for Germany.
Sane scored eight goals and provided six more in twenty-three Bundesliga appearances last season and is valued at approximately £40m.
Meanwhile, City have been rivalling Manchester United for the signature of Colombian sensation Moreno, and it seems that Pep Guardiola’s side have the upper edge in the race to acquire the forward.
Quick and strong, Moreno would be an asset in any case for Guardiola, and it is no surprise that there is a host of top European clubs competing for his signing.
It has been reported by the Mirror earlier this month that when Moreno joins City, a loan to La Liga outfit Deportivo la Coruna awaits him.
Finally, Guardiola is ready to combat Manchester United and Real Madrid for another player in the shape of Jesus. The 19-year-old forward has been dubbed as ‘the new Neymar’ and is valued north of £20m by Palmeiras.
The Brazilian outfit have already rejected a £16.7m offer from Juventus for the prodigy.
The deal is a complicated one as at the moment City are touring in China, therefore the two clubs are in different time zones.
Should John Stones join Pep Guardiola in a new era at the Etihad, the club’s spending could enter an excess of £150m.
City have already signed Nolito, Ilkay Gündogan and Oleksandr Zinchenko for £36.5m so far this summer.
