Romelu Lukaku was stretchered off early into Manchester United’s match with Southampton on Saturday, having clashed heads with visiting defender Wesley Hoedt.
Lukaku crashed into Hoedt as the pair contested an aerial challenge in the first half of the encounter at Old Trafford.
The Belgium international lay prone on the pitch barely moving while he was treated by medical staff for five minutes.

Lukaku, who joined United from Everton for £75 million in the close season, had started the campaign with 11 goals in 10 games but has struggled to maintain that form in the months since.
There has been little in the way of an update since Lukaku was take off early in the first half, but may need to be take to a nearby hospital if it is deemed necessary.
