Liverpool winger Suso is set to leave the Anfield side within the next nine months as reports in Italy suggest he is desperate to leave and AC Milan could be the destination for the 20-year-old, according to the Daily Express.
Suso has only made two appearances this season for the Reds with both being substitute appearances in the Champions League and Capital One Cup respectively.
A season-long loan to Almeria last term in which he played in 33 league games clearly hasn’t had the desired effect of reigniting his chances at Liverpool though and it looks as though both parties will come to some agreement either in January or when Suso is a free agent this summer.
For Liverpool this is a not a measure that will effect them heavily as they already have a solid contingent of creative midfield talent. The truth is that Suso is probably at the wrong club at the wrong point in his career and at the age of 20, regular first team football is what he needs to progress.
At Liverpool this will not happen so for the player and the club an arrangement for Suso to move on would be beneficial for both parties.
For Suso it gives him the opportunity to find a new pathway to first team football and for Brendan Rodgers it will free up more room to develop a squad of players he thinks are capable of challenging for titles, which could see the club sign up potential targets in January or the summer.
