Liverpool kicked off their 2017/18 Premier League campaign in Vicarage Road today, hoping to get off to the best possible start and do their talking on the field following a tumultuous week for the club with the Phillipe Coutinho saga.
However, things looked rocky throughout the game, as they went down 1-0 and 2-1 in the first half, as Watford looked like they were set to get their own campaign off to a flyer.
Nonetheless, there was a major turnaround after the break, as Firmino equalised from a well-taken penalty kick.

It then got better for the Reds, as new signing Mohamed Salah showed tremendous heart to get to the ball first and bundle it into the net.

As Liverpool entered stoppage time one goal to the good, it looked like they were going to pick up all three points, but Watford’s Miguel Brittos popped up in the 93rd minute to equalise and earn a 3-3 draw.

In the two Premier League games so far, we have seen 13 goals. Long may it continue!
Jurgen Klopp’s side face into a huge week, where they take on Hoffenheim in a Champions League qualifier before the visit of Crystal Palace, arguably their bogey-team in recent seasons, to Anfield.
