Everton and Liverpool played out a dire 94 minutes of football this evening in the Premier League at Goodison Park. However, the visitors pushed on in the second half, and Sadio Mané found the net during the eight minutes of additional time to give the the away side all three points.

The sharing of the spoils would have done little for the title ambitions of the Reds nor the top-four aspirations of the Toffees, and 0-0 was a result which looked inevitable for most of the evening.

The biggest talking point of the 90 minutes was a horror tackle from Ross Barkley, but he avoided a red card.

However, when it looked destined for a disappointing evening for all concerned, Sadio Mané stepped up to clinch victory, after some good work by Daniel Sturridge.
