Manchester United’s 2015/16 third kit is set to be released at the end of this month.
Ahead of the official unveiling, images of the new shirt have emerged online. The jersey features a striking design which harps back to the early 1990s with a unique pattern across the chest, inspired by the away kit United wore between 1990 and 1992 (pictured below).

Today’s offering is not quite as retro as this, with the overall design conforming to the parameters of the home and away shirts, which have already been revealed.
Adidas have made their logo and the famous club crest a bright orange to stand out from the all-black torso and have also coloured the three stripes as well as the cuffs of each sleeve a striking solar orange colour.
The 1990s throwback comes into play up around the chest area, where we can clearly see the same graphic has been used as is on the ’90s kit. This also extends to the shorts, which fade into white. The kit looks to be completed by white socks with the club crest once again in orange and in the same style as the home and away socks.
The new third kit may divide opinion but we’re sure this jersey could go down as one of United’s most collectable in years to come.
