Jurgen Klopp has vowed to address the situation regarding centre-back Mamadou Sakho following the Frenchman’s comments posted on social media prior to Liverpool’s emphatic defeat of Hull yesterday.
The 26-year-old has not featured in Klopp’s team this season following a pre-season incident that saw the defender being sent home from Liverpool’s tour of the United States.
Despite the manager suggesting that Sakho might be best served seeking a move away from Anfield during the summer, the France international rejected a bid from Stoke City.
Now, a frustrated Sakho has taken to his Snapchat account to claim that despite being fully fit for the past three weeks following a heel injury, he is being ingored by the manager.

Following the emergence of Sakho’s comments prior to the Hull fixture, Klopp was understandably unimpressed, as reported by Sky Sports,
“The thing is I was kind of confronted with this, somebody told me this morning there was something I should know about. Actually on a match day I’m really in a completely wrong mood to think about things like this.
“It’s not the right moment to speak about it. Most of the times in life it makes sense to think about something and then it’s more likely that you give the right answer.
“It’s not positive I would say. I will address the situation when I think it’s the right moment. I haven’t decided when that is yet. But it’s not Christmas.”
Needless to say, it appears that Sakho’s public outburst has done him no favours with the manager and will likely not be appearing anytime soon for Klopp.
Perhaps the only reprieve for the centre-back is a potential move away from Anfield in January.
