Manchester United will finally complete a long-awaited move for Zlatan Ibrahimovic at the end of the week as reported by the BBC.
Zlatan will be reunited with Jose Mourinho, who worked with the Swede in their time together at Inter Milan.
The charismatic striker, 34, will sign a one-year deal on a whopping £200,000 a week, according to ESPN.
Ibrahimovic reportedly removed the final barrier stalling the switch to Old Trafford by retiring from international duty and thus eliminating any chance of him appearing at this summer’s Rio Olympics for Sweden.
Sky Sports have reported that personal terms have already been agreed, but in contrast to the BBC believe that Ibrahimovic’s medical and subsequent signing will take place next week.
Ultimately, it is just the formalities that have to be completed ahead of Ibra’s move to the Red Devils.
Will Ibrahimovic be a worthwhile expense for Man United or could he be an overpaid flop?
