Harry Arter won’t want to see a replay of this again…
Bournemouth and Southampton faced off in this evening’s Premier League clash, with both sides careering for a mid-table finish.
The tie reflected as much, with the two teams locked at 0-0. However, with just over 10 minutes to go, Bournemouth were awarded a penalty.
Republic of Ireland international midfielder Harry Arter stood up to the spot, to secure three points for the away side.
However, he slightly lost his footing in the run-up to the spot-kick, and sent the ball flying high over the crossbar.
The most remarkable thing is how much he actually got under the kick.

It looks as if the penalty could have cleared two goals!
