In Chelsea’s final game of the season against Sydney, in front of 83,598 fans, Loic Remy was the hero for the Blues, scoring the only goal of the game after half an hour.
It was a strike worthy of winning the game too, as the 28-year-old fired a thunderbolt of a shot past Vedran Janjetovic in the Sky Blues’ goal.
Remy has found consistent playing time difficult to come by this season, being shunned by Jose Mourinho, who favoured Diego Costa. The Chelsea boss’s decision was certainly justified however, and it is as yet unclear what part, if any, the ex-Newcastle United man will have to play next year in London.
With stunning goals like the one below still in his locker though, there could be a number of interested parties if he is to leave Stamford Bridge.
