According to ITV reports, Monaco forward Dimitar Berbatov is on the fringe of doing a deal that will take him back to the Premier League.
Berbatov played for Manchester United from 2008-2012 scoring a total of 56 goals during his time with the club. Having since played for Fulham and French side Monaco, Berbatov is now reportedly set for a return to the Premier League.
According to ITV, Berbatov is already in Birmingham, but will need to complete a medical before the deal can be signed, sealed and delivered.
During his two seasons at Monaco, the Bulgarian has scored 18 goals in 53 appearances. Hardly prolific but Berbatov is known for having far more aspects to his game than purely goal scoring.
