The FA Cup clash between Liverpool and Everton at Anfield has produced the fireworks one would expect of a Merseyside derby.
The fixture that has seen more than its fair share of red cards truly sprung into life just after the half-hour mark when James Milner put the home side from the penalty spot, after Adam Lallana went down from a relatively soft challenge from Mason Holgate.
Holgate would be involved in the thick of it again just minutes later when he became embroiled in a tussle with Liverpool forward Roberto Firmino. With the ball going out for a throw-in, Holgate ensured that not only would the ball go out of play but Firmino too, as the defender pushed his opponent over the advertising boards and into the stands.

Firmino immediately gets up to remonstrate with Holgate, and the two players have to be kept apart by referee Bobby Madley before, with Firmino clearly saying something to upset Holgate, being dragged away by their respective teammates. Madley then decides that the incident did not require any further action.
How has Holgate not even been booked there? You get yellow cards for over celebrating these days. What a joke.

Ha! That’s brilliant. Not even a booking for Holgate…

What’s Firmino done or said that made Holgate go nuts there?

Only thing clear is day is that Firmino calls Holgate a «filho da puta» (son of a whore). Other than that; no idea. Kind regards. Lipreader.

At the time of writing, the score is 1-0 at half-time thanks to that Milner penalty.’
