The Green Army are famed for their great support of the Ireland football team, with many a great story coming from away days. Ireland are playing away in Bosnia, bidding to qualify for their second consecutive European Championships. What the fans would give to recreate that fortnight in Poland.
However, of all the stories, we think this one tops the lot.
William Murphy was worried about the whereabouts of his father, considering he was not seen in 12 hours. Nonetheless, he was found alive and well… but not in Ireland. He had made the trip to Zenica for the Euro 2016 play-off, and turned up on the news.

William, if Ireland get through this tie, your father may go ‘missing’ again for a few weeks in June. You should check France first.
